Recent Updates:

October 14, 2009:
After a very hectic summer (personally), I finally updated the Web site to reflect the upcoming Central Allison Hill Community Cleanup. After the cleanup, I hope to update the site more substantially, especially since HCSP is now a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (though the donation links at the bottom of the page still don't work).

April 29, 2009:
I changed the fonts throughout the site. Most headings are now Trebuchet MS and most body text is now Palatino Linotype. I hope this makes things more readable. I also should have changed the color of  unused links. The entire site was updated to reflect the passage of the South Allison Hill Community Cleanup.

March 7, 2009:
I updated the calendar by adding Weed and Seed meetings, the next Harrisburg City Council Public Works Committee meeting, and the door-to-door  flyer distribution. I also changed a few things throughout the site to reflect the addition of the Business Association of South Allison Hill as a partner in the SAH Community Cleanup. I added downloadable flyers to advertise the SAH Community Cleanup to the above event description and to the "Resources" page.

February 24, 2009
: Thanks to mention by Joshua Gebers in the minutes of the South Allison Hill Ministerium, people are actually visitng the site, so I figured I needed to put more information on here about the event, which is above. I also updated the "About Us" page to reflect the upcoming SAH cleanup, the "Resources" page to reflect the new Post Office box address, and the "Records" page to reflect the cost of the Post Office box. As always, if anything is missing, please let me know.

January 17, 2009:
The HTML editor I was previously using, Nvu, did not allow for the insertion of links to download files. I am now using SeaMonkey Composer, which permits such links. I have added a few such links to the "Resources" and "Records" pages. I changed all the link colors. Un-visited links should now be green and visited links should now be yellow. Hopefully the contrast works better. On the "Resources" page, I added a link to the Facebook group and download links for some Adopt-a-Block paperwork. On the "Records" page, I added download links for the Articles of Incorporation, and proof of the publication of the notice in The Patriot-News. I also added a blog post and added the upcoming Harrisburg City Council Public Works Committee meeting to the calendar.

January 15, 2009:
Over the past few days, I have added some all the photos I have of events in the appropriate link. If you have any other photos of the events that I may post, please let me know. In the "About Us" section, I updated the statistics of the last cleanup. Once I dig through a pile of papers, I will verify the numbers for the earlier events and probably add a table to the "Records" page. Just to make sure the blog worked properly, I added a wry litter-oriented F Minus comic strip. For a few days after my last set of updates, I had been fixing the pages, but I was having problems publishing the updated pages to the site. I hope this problem does not persist.

January 9, 2009:
After tinkering with this site for a few days, it is finally up and running. Everything should work, though the "Photos" link leads to page that does not yet have any photos. I still need to figure out how to links to files on here because I want to allow the downloading of Adopt-a-Block documents and such. Let me know if you have any ideas for this. As an alternative, I may link to some external site to hold the files, like I did for the calendar and the photos. Also please let me know if you find any problems with the site, no matter how large or small, and opinions on what works, doesn't work, etc. Thanks for visiting.
